Now in the CCTV security surveillance market, IP camera and Analog camera are the mainstream. The transmitting media of the latter one is CAT5 cable. Video from Analogue CCTV Camera is non-balance signal, can transmit via coaxial cable. If you want Video from CCTV Camera transmit via UTP cable, you need a device to change the non-balance signal to balance signal.

This is why Video Balun comes out.

2.    What is

Video Balun is solution for video from CCTV Camera transmit via UTP cable. (The traditional way is video transmits via coaxial cable, which the signal change is no need.)

So you can imagine the video balun as:

 changing video signal between:

“for coaxial cable” and ”for UTP Cable”.
